Refund Policy

01When you can claim a refund

You can ask Aakri for a refund if you experienced:

• A false service: the service was charged but not provided.
• An incomplete job: the work was not finished as booked.
• Misbehaviour by the service provider.

Refunds apply only to payments made through your Aakri wallet or online. Cash payments are not covered by this policy.

02How to make a claim

Email us within 5 days of the job being completed, with the subject line “Job Reference # – Complaint Category”, and tell us what went wrong.

03What happens next

• We register your complaint and send you a complaint number within 24 hours, by email or text message.
• We check the job details with the service provider who handled it.
• You receive the final decision by email within 7 working days, with the reason it was approved or declined.

Aakri’s grievance redressal officer reviews every claim, and Aakri reserves the right to approve or decline a refund request.

04How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are credited to your Aakri wallet within 48 hours, excluding holidays.

05Cancellations

• You can cancel or reschedule a pickup in the app at any time, or by calling customer support during working hours.
• Please cancel at least 30 minutes before your pickup slot, so our team can plan their next collection.

06Scrap you sell to us

Scrap sold to Aakri cannot be returned, as it is sent on for recycling. If you think the weight or amount for a pickup was wrong, contact us and we will look into it.
